Post your latest oil change

Never been downunder.

It was purchased online from a European distributor (ak 24 parts). As such unfortunately it came with European pricing.
Thanks!

What's the reason behind the decision to spend the extra money on effectively importing Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-40 rather than continuing to run 5W-30?

Picked up an Expedition recently. I think it was fairly well cared for. It had just over 200k miles and the 5.4 Triton V8 sounded good. This is the first oil change I've performed on it. I typically do semi-annual oil change intervals (October & April) so I'll run this oil for a couple months and then switch over to Valvoline Restore and Protect.

2014 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch
5.4L Triton V8
~200k miles

OUT
Unknown oil
Unknown miles
Motorcraft 820S oil filter
*Sent in this oil for a baseline used oil analysis and to make sure there aren’t any issues. Waiting on results.

IN
6 qts. Valvoline Maxlife 10w40
1 qt. HPL SAE 40 Engine Cleaner
Pronto / Premium Guard Extended Life Oil Filter
Premium Guard High Flow Air Filter
*I decided to go with 10w40 this time because 1) it's summer 2) wanted to see if there was any difference in engine sound 3) gauge MPG's with this weight of oil.

Any history on timing chain and spark plug work being done?

I had my local preferred shop put in all new OE Motorcraft plugs as soon as I brought it home. Unfortunately I have no history in the timing chain.
Timing chain might have already been done then. Most need a complete timing/follower job around the 100K-150K mile mark if they ran with 20 grade oil their whole life. Doing good with the thicker grade oil.

2016 Ford Focus ST, 131,400 miles, unk OCI
Out: Quickie lube stuff
In: Maxlife 5w20 and PG filter

Also swapped Motorcraft plugs, DCT fluid and air filters. Plugs and trans fluid were original
Needs front brakes and 2 tires. And a warsh. And maybe coolant service.
