Mobil 1 M108a filter

Out: The Kirkland 0W-20 I ran in it for the prior 5500 miles.
Wix 57002 filter.

I've been running Kirkland 0W-20in this engine for years, and I don't normally use HM oil. When I was online buying M1 EP for another car in my fleet I accidentally ordered the M1 HM. In the old 2012 Mazda it goes.

HPL was for filling the oil filter. I thought I’d give Valvoline Restore and Protect's magic ingredient an oil change interval. Will probably go back to HPL.
Would you cut the HPL filter you just took off and the Valvoline Restore and Protect filter when you take it off?

Nice! Where did you purchase the Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-40?

Sorry no pictures. Phone was in my car and wife took the car.

Daughter's boyfriend - his brother just picked up a 2013 Elantra ($3200) with 150k on it and leaves for school to SUNY Oneonta next week. Windshield sticker had that is was due with 3k interval. Dipstick showed it was overfilled some, I got just over 4.5 qts in recycle jug so they may have just added 5qts and been done. Car calls for 4.2qts. Looking through fill port everything was nice and clean and silver, no sludge around there at least and no varnish/staining. Filter mount area was the same, looked really good. No oil leaks underneath that I could see. It does have an exhaust leak that needs check/fix. Simple greened motor and engine bay for a clean up. Air filter clean. Need to check the cabin filter (forgot).

Out - 4.5+ quarts of unknown oil and white can Purolator L14459
In - 4.2 quarts of Castrol Edge 5W-20 and ECOGARD X10479. He needs to a double check at flat spot to make sure full.

Added some premix coolant to bottle to bring to full. Checked radiator cap and all was good and full. Brake fluid was full, didn't pull wheels, it will go to shop for check for NY state inspection this week. Filled windshield squirter with -25F to get that going through system. Needed both license plate bulbs and inner tail light bulbs, done. Front Kuhmo tires at 5/32" rears at 7/32" 2423 date code. TPMS light is on and my Autel TS508WF showed 2 dead sensors, checked Costco they said $65 each installed which they will have done this week. Told him to put the 7/32" up front now to even out wear.

Looked like actually a decent vehicle, clean in and out, perfect for sophomore in college. We'll keep an eye out for spare rims/winter setup for them. If not when these wear I'll at least suggest a 3PMSF version

You signature say Los Angeles, but we know you didn't buy the 5W-40 there. Are you in Australia right now?
