In/out: Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20
Off/on: Wix 57055

My last Wix filter. Out 5+ qts. In 5qts. Just over 5. Maybe .1 or .2

Did the CRC IVD cleaner before the change. No CELs or other issues. We'll see if it makes a difference. Hoping because I am at such low mileage, it will do some cleaning. May do again during the next OCI or the one after. Also changed the cabin air filter.

I was able to get them for a decent price about 3 years ago and they have the bypass valve setting that some other filters don't have. Due to warranty, I try to use what is appropriate to not give them a chance to try and deny any warranty stuff. I buy my filters 12 at a time. Covers 2 cars for 3 years. Moving on to Subaru branded Rokyo Roki. Got 12 of those too.

For reference, the filters listed above I am familiar with. I actually have some for my wife's car. Seems like an arrogant and rude comment. Especially for someone who doesn't know me. Trying to start drama for the sake of drama. Reminds me of some know it all chick I went to college with. She said to a girl in my class "You don't know Alanis until you've lived Alanis!" I was like "Who the ^%$# is Alanis? LOL! Too old for this @#$%!"

I use the Wix XP for my Subaru and my friend’s Subaru that I maintain for the higher bypass valve setting. So no, not only used by people who don’t know about other filters.

Lots of bugs on the front. Just got back from a vacation road trip. I’ll wash it later this week.

Blue crush washer material stuck to the pan and drain bolt. Saw this happen before with Restore & Protect. But never with Pennzoil products. Oh well. No leaks so nothing to worry about.
