Post your latest oil change

This is oil change #41 on the 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L (VCM active) with 212.3 K miles.
Out: Rotella Gas Truck 5w30
In: Valvoline Modern Engine 5W30
OCI mileage: 5000 miles
Filter out: Fram Ultra (older version with 20K rating) came off. Prior oil change included 8 oz of Rislone. Wanted to see if filter had sludgy coating on it. It did, but not as much as prior since it was less mileage and less concentration of Rislone. Hated to replace the Ultra so early in it’s life, but sacrificed it for science. Filter looked excellent.
Filter in: Ecogard X4610. Will cut and post next oil change.
OLM: 40% remaining on OLM, but just changed to 30% a few miles after the oil change (didn’t get to reset it right away).

OLM drops 10% for every 660 miles roughly when driven on long roadtrips.

Engine was fantastic on the 3000+ mile trip to FL and back to MA. Got 24-25 mpg.

My oldest son (16) just bought his first vehicle. He’s been working for the last year and a half or so to save up for it. This is the first oil change on it.

It's gonna go up here soon if not already with the situation in the Middle East. Supertech needs your used oil!
Glad I stocked up about six months ago, in spite of current price now, but at least you can still get it, ( for now), the situation may get more tight and sparce yet $$ to come.

Going up on the ramps might have changed the front suspension and it didn't settle back like it normally would be. If I put the front end up, I drive it around the block a few times then park it back in the garage to ensure the front suspension is settled back to normal.
Makes no difference though. Book says 4.2 with filter, dipstick says 5.

What's that leak from? Steering rack? I can't tell.
A while back I posted a previous oil change I did and someone commented on how the filter was in a bad spot and oil must go everywhere and make a mess. I told them about the little spout that directs the oil into the drain pan. That pic is of the spout doing its job.

2020 Honda Accord Sport
69k miles, approx 6k OCI (maintenance minder at 15%)

Out: Valvoline 0W-20, Subaru 15A
In: Valvoline 0W-20, Carquest R84356

New cabin and engine air filters.
Ok at least there is a picture. How do you do that to us and just say Valvoline 0W-20? There are WAY too many choices in that. That's like leaving the Accord Sport out of your details and just saying 2020 Honda. That will be one demerit listed on you BITOG membership card.

What brand/version cabin and air filters? Don't make us cut a corner off that card................:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sadly we did not record the odometer reading at the last change. History seems to indicate that every 10% on is roughly 750 miles but this does not seem to be linear. IIRC we took one of those 1100 mile road trips to Maine on a prior OCI and the OLM didn't budge. My best guess is that we are somehere north of 5k. We have 5w-30 HPM Premium Plus in the sump so the plan is to go two years.
I presume that is HPL Premium Plus. Even with great oil I would be concerned with fuel dilution. Any fuel smell when you pull dipstick? I presume you check on regular basis. One of my fleet was getting higher on dipstick due to those short trips. That made me reduce mileage / time just to get rid of it.

That is correct. We know that the 2016 K4 is a fuel dilluter based upon multiple UOAs but it's a mild case. The oil level doesn't go up. Nevertheless we've bumped it up from 0w-20 to xw-30 for the last couple of OCIs to compensate for the fuel dillution.

Two oil changes done.

2023 Mazda CX-50 2.5S
OCI: 9450mi, 323 engine hours, and ~11 months.
Out: Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20 and a Mazda 1WPE-14-302
In: Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20 and a Mazda 1WPE-14-302
Got ahead of myself and forgot to collect the oil sample I wanted too. Next time I guess.

2015 Honda Civic 1.8L
OCI: 4074mi and ~12months
Out: Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 and a Bosch 3323
In: Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20 and a Carquest Premium 84356
I remembered to collect an oil sample for this one. It will be posted once available.

2014 F350 6.2L gasoline engine.
256,000 kms on truck, 11,000 kms on oil.
One litre added at 7,000 kms, instead of adding a litre of 5w-20 every 700 kms.
Out; 5W-40 Penz Euro and Fram ultra, in 0W-40 M1 FS Euro and Fram ultra.

2005 Honda CR-V EX w/Manual Trans - 337,250km (209,557 Miles)

OCI - 7826km (4862 Miles). 8.5 months
Out - SuperTech 5w40 Euro & Fram Orange Can
In Mobil1 European Car 0w40 & Castrol CAS7317 Filter
Used/leaked about 1.5 litres during this OCI

I've used Supertech 5w40 Euro for about 100,000km but it was nowhere to be found (along with most other Supertech). Finding anything heavier than 5w30 that wasn't a diesel oil was a challenge. I checked both Walmart and then Canadian Tire. Walmart is pretty much out of Fram filters and has no replacement. Canadian Tire does still have quite a few Fram but not in my size and the only alternative in stock was the Castrol....I spent about $30 more than I usually do but that's the way things are right now...
