2023 Mazda 3, 35K on clock, 5,000 mile oil change interval

Out: Valvoline Extended Protection Synthetic 5W-30 and a Pentius PLXL6607
In: Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30 synthetic and a Carquest Premium 85358

I haven't posted pics of the cut open Pentius, but unremarkable, looks just like the last 2 I have posted. Nothing to see. Great filter.

2017 Honda CR-V 1.5 L
Mileage 45981

5921 miles oci
11981 miles on oil filter

Out Valvoline Extended Protection 0w-20
Off Fram FE7317 oil filter

In Valvoline Extended Protection 0w-20
On Napa 47356 oil filter

As an aside...I used extractor for 4qts then drained ~1/2 a qt via fumoto valve primarily to see if any grit or shiny metals. Nothing noticeable to the naked eye. Also cut open FE7317 since it was on for 12k...filter in great shape...nothing notable to discuss. Sorry no pics...was in a rush plus raining and I only cut it open because of the reputation this engine has fo fuel dilution n oil degradation. Plan is to pull sample in ~5500 miles and send fo analysis.

Swapped from Mahle to Mann oil filters. Was happier with the Mann ones coming from Germany rather than the Mahle ones coming from China.

2020 RAV4, 159,655 miles. 10k OCI. Supertech 0w-20 Dexos full synthetic and a Fram Ultra 20k mile filter. For the first time, the old filter seal stuck to the housing on the engine. It fell right off when I poked it.
Have you always used Supertech? Any oil burning?

Been using Supertech or Kirkland for quite a while, maybe the last 100k miles. My wife drove home from an hour's highway drive right before the oil change and the oil level was reading about 7/8 full. The old oil was a hair low and a little brown, like dark honey. Looked pretty good to me.

Pretty good result. What are the miles like? All highway?
