Post your latest oil change

just changed the oil on my Daughter and Son in-law's 2025 HRV..they previously had free oil changes at the dealership but had used the last one. holy crap..only people to change oil in this car was the dealership and they had changed it 3 times...pull it up on my ramps and oil all underneath the splash panel. pull the splash panel and notice one screw missing..the filter is dripping oil...clean up the splash panel with brake cleaner....wipe the underneath down where oil has been getting coated for who knows how long...(5000 miles on the the oil change) freaking dealerships who try and tell you that you need to have them service your new cars.....anyway Honda oem filter and Mobil 1 0W20.....and sent them on their way. oh and at least the filter was not over tightened like the drain plug lol..

I posted my oil change recently. But wanted to add this:

In my 2025 Mazda CX5 NON turbo, I drained the Mazda 0w20 oil (good 0w20 oil, nothing wrong with it)
-But I put in Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30
- I also use Shell Premium Nitro Fuel and WOW, what a combo.
-LOVE the way it runs in the Texas heat with this (94 Degrees farenheit her in Texas the other day)
-At stops/idle can barely here it. I actually thought the car stalled at one point.
-I dont believe this is palcebo affect, there is definitely a noticeable difference.
-Pickup/acceleration is unbelievably smooth and responsive.
-Startup smooth as butter.
-This SkyactivG naturally aspirated engine seems to LOVE this Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30.
-Glad I made the switch at least for the really hot summer months.

2007 Volvo S80 V8. 90677 miles. Out/in Mobil 1 Euro, 0W-40, Mahle OX149D, 7 quarts. 2293 miles on oil. Nice translucent drain oil. Filter spotless. Changed due to duration of oil, 2+ years since last change

I think you duffed the photo upload somehow. (Edit: I see some code on the right side with right justification that seems to indicate a photo attempt.) In case you wanted to try again...

This one has the 1.5, which is a notorious fuel diluter, right?

What do most here who own the 1.5 Honda engine run oil wise with success besides 0W20?
I service my friend's 2019 with the notorious 1.5L at 5K intervals. Been a great vehicle so far...

2024 GTI.
Out: HPL Euro 0w-30
In: the same. getting near the bottom of the five gallon bucket.
VW filter was spotless and considering almost 3k ago a tune bumped it by over 90 hp was glad to see that.
May be looking to bump the HTHS a bit because of the tune and will have to see what HPL has to offer in that regard.

Company protocol is 7500 miles per oil change, but I snuck it in early due to the calendar not being open for an oil change anytime soon.
