Post your latest oil change

. @Pablo bought a Ford. Doesn't matter what oil he uses, it will. .... Oh, I promised I wouldn't troll anymore. :ROFLMAO:
Sweet van. Especially down by the river. The over year old 1000 mile factory fill looked like new oil.

Easier oil change than Tacoma or CRV- no belly pan!

PS I’m leaving it off the Tacoma and next time CRV!

I typically do 5k mile oil changes, even with the extended drain oils like Mobil 1 Extended Performance. But, I changed early this go around. I try to keep the 5.3 DI behaving, so I don't like to go past 5K miles. I got up yesterday and the weather was just too nice, so I poured a cup of coffee and did this oil change at 4,100 miles. I thought I would try a 0W-30 this go around.
Those two will behave pretty much exactly the same. AFE is super thin and is the only oil I've ran in the 'ole GA16DE that completely leaked down out of the hydraulic tensioner's internal chamber leaving the plunger partially collapsed at the next cold start causing 2-3 seconds of timing chain rattle. Never happened on any other oil I've used. Has less than 5000kms on the oil now but will dump it early just for that reason. Hope your 5.3 does well on it(y)
