Post your latest oil change

If you saw how dark the oil on the dipstick was and when it was drained out you would want to change it too. It was diesel black with a slight reddish tint in bright light.
Well I'm sure, given how long you've been here, that you already know oil color doesn't really indicate whether it's shot or not. I bet if you sent it off for a UOA, it would show plenty of life left in that AMSOIL. But I can see how it'd be concerning. From the photo, I agree, that is pretty black.

Decided to perform one last early change. Left the Carquest EP filter on but drained the plastic filter holder as it has a built in plug.

Didn't realize a Delvac Extreme got mixed in with the ESP at Walmart, so I ended up with 2 gallons of ESP and 1 of the extreme. Coming into summer, I feel like there shouldn't be an issue with the 2qt of 15w mixed in. Usually buy 3 gallons of oil and 2 filters at the same time.
