Decent deal to be had. And I’ll probably run it the full length of the OLM. Plus I like using oil that this place now deems as “cheapened”. Just an fyi on leveling out the cvt. I did my wife’s new Altima @20k, drained it out and put exactly the same amount back in. Yesterday @22k I did the second drain and fill using the same procedure as the 1st time, but leveled it via the overflow plug at 104 degrees. Almost a full qt under-filled from the factory. This is better than overfilled I guess, but still! This stuff doesn’t evaporate.

"Better" is a matter of opinion. I used Valvoline SynPower for most of the 240k miles of ownership of the previous Santa Fe Sport 2.0T equipped with the infamous Theta II. The Smartstream line of engines has, so far since 2019, been very reliable. I also change the oil in the Palisade every 3 m/3k miles. In my opinion, VAFS is on par with other majors' advanced synthetics.
We began ownership of this Palisade in 2021. It hasn't burned any noticable amount of oil yet.
Dealer reprogrammed the ECU for throttle body startup procedure. The previous software was opening and closing the throttle before startup and was slamming the throttle open so hard, it was damaging the gear which operates the flap. The new software supposedly changes how the throttle is opened. As far as the engine, dealers will check for metal particles in the oil pan to check for bearing wear. This will happen at the next oil change. I just changed the oil and there was nothing that I could see in the old oil. Nissan has extended the powertrain warranty on these vehicles to 10 years.
However, it has a Toyota 1ZZ-FE engine.
Drive it all the time with Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 or Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30. It's the oil burning 2AZ-FE engine and it has a flat-tappet cam.
Never ever go back to 0W-20 oil

My cousins 2008 F250 6.4 Powerstroke (worst diesel ever in a Ford truck)
Miraculously 249,xxx miles
It got Motorcraft 15W40 and a new Motorcraft cap and FL2016 oil filter
Changed the fuel filters and the dreaded 6.4 airbound scenario reared its ugly head. Overnight shipped a bleeder tool, bled 3 gallons from the fuel cooler till absolutely no bubbles were present, and it cranked up. One truck I'm not looking forward to servicing again.

This OCI unknown miles but EVIC showed 26% left. I didn't do the last change, dealer did it when recall work was done last fall.

While rotating the tires a total of three nails were found between two tires. He picked them up and took them to Belle Tire for repair.

Good question. Almost two years (with a lot of short trips) just feels like a really long time and Mobil 1 0w-40 is pretty reasonably priced. Especially two 5qt jugs perfectly covers the Smart car and BMW. I was tempted to get a UOA but decided not to....I did get a UOA on my 328 with a similar engine to the 325ci and an over 4 year OCI with good results.

I bought a new AcDelco battery from Menards, changed the oil and detailed it, I hope to drive it a lot more now.

If you saw how dark the oil on the dipstick was and when it was drained out you would want to change it too. It was diesel black with a slight reddish tint in bright light.
