Post your latest oil change

2021 RAV4 hybrid, 52K, 5100 OCI
Out and In: Mobil 1 0w16 and YZZZZZZZZZZN1 filter. I hate Toyletta's filter numbering... Why?

I think it's time for 1st transmission service?
Isn't the recommended OCI 10k miles or is this just a low mileage vehicle that runs out the clock vs. the odometer?

It probably couldn't hurt to service the transmission.

My uncles very well abused (as far as the engine goes) 2014 GMC 1500 with the 4.3 Ecotec

130k miles

Drained out Super Tech syn 5W30 and a Pentius PLXL 10575 filter that was put in/on at 111k miles

So 19k on that oil/ filter

Dumped in 4 qts Super Tech 15W40 and 2 qts Super Tech syn 5W30 and an STP S10590 filter

He does not care, so I dont, my aunt lets me know when it needs to be done. She is better about her vehicle and lets me know every 6k when her Venza needs an oil change

Truck runs fine despite the abuse

For “normal” conditions it’s 10,000 miles and for “severe” conditions it’s 5,000 miles. Lots of people probably fall into severe by Toyota’s definition and don’t even realize it.

It's about 4 years old and has mostly around town miles. When Christina (owner) asked me to help service her RAV4, I told her I do 5K services with quality oils and swap filter every other service.

I didn't care for the old RAV4s and their squishy Toyletta ride. This one is pretty darn nice, I have to say. Dunno what it cost but it does a lotta things well, especially with expensive CA gas.

Photos like that get me excited. Doesn't matter to me the cui or the horses. I am just a mechanical/machine junkie. When someone can't even hide the pride and effort they pour into something special like yours it really tells the story. Congrats to you. WoW! A wild guess is you have had it since new? I am certain you have been told this already. Simply STUNNING. Congrats again to you. (y) Thanks for sharing.

Are you moving ahead with the transmission fluid change? If so do tell on the choice of fluids. Inquiring minds want to know...

I will use Toyletta WS ATF on her RAV. I've used a lotta Idemitsu WS equivalent on my cars.
One thing; where the heck is the transmission dipstick? Dang Toyletta!
