Post your latest oil change

Bighorn
Takes the wife around three months to accumulate 6K? Highway driving?.... I-75 or I-94?
Yes; about three months currently, last change was 7/29. City/Highway mix, normal commute from Northern Oakland County to Farmington Hills on week days. Errands and such on weekends, travel ball practice three times a week starts next week so mileage will go up.

2021 Ram Rebel 5.7 non-e torque 14,488 miles

Fall oil change. Drove it on a couple of our vacations this summer. So it got more miles than usual.

Out - Valvoline EP 5w20 & Mopar 4k on oci

Tacoma in signature, now 189k odometer miles:
Out: PP 5w30, Wix 51516 (oversize)
In: PP 5w30, Wix 51516 (oversize)
Notes: 8 months and 4992 miles on this interval, top-off oil not needed. Old oil was pretty dark for the shorter interval, either due to the Cataclean use just before this service and/or due to oxidation from summer temps (last oil & filter done in February). Typical interval is 6000-6500, can't explain why I changed it sooner except that I wanted to?
On my 04 Toyota Camry four-cylinder I used the oil filter for the Toyota supra. Is that the oversize one you’re using?

2 oil changes completed this week:

2006 Toyota Sequoia, 182,140 miles, 5k OCI
Out: Mobil 1 HM 5w-30 w/ Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter
In: Pennzoil Platinum HM 5w-30 w/ 90915 YZZD3 oil filter

2019 Toyota RAV4 Adventure, 49,014 miles, 5k OCI
Out: Mobil 1 AFE 0w-16 w/ 90915 YZZN1 oil filter

2008 Ford Escape 3.0 V6 215,725 miles. 4,800 on oil. Such a nice day perfect to change oil.

Out: 6 quarts Quaker State 5W-20 Full Synthetic
Off: Motorcraft FL-820S

In: 6 quarts Fram High Mileage 5W-20
On: Motorcraft FL-820S

Oil life was at 30% and the oil was pretty dark. Since it was such a nice day I went ahead and done it. Got a lot done today so day well spent. Sold a car, changed the oil, dumped all the old oil at the parts store. So yeah good day.

'21 Hyundai Tucson -
Out - Unknown probably 5W-20 semi syn (previous OC from shop the year before said "synthetic blend" so probably the same). Filter was NAPA Pro Select 21334 made by Mann+Hummel (same as factory Hyundai ones).

In - Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5W-30, Fram FE9688.

Oil was dirty and smells like fuel. I pulled 2 samples so I can send to Blackstone and Oil Analyzers. It only had about 6k on the oil in 11 months. 17.7K on vehicle.

The Wix 51348/Napa 1348 is a standard oil filter spec'd for my 2006 Tacoma 2.7L and also for the 1998 Supra 3.0L... it is not an oversize filter. The Wix 51516 currently on my Tacoma is oversized, spec'd for the 2003 Ford Mustang V6 and the 1989 Ford Aerostar V6 (cross-reference).
I had previously used the Motorcraft FL400S (oversize) filter which is spec'd for the same Ford V6 applications as the 51516. But the 51516 is 0.10 inch longer and it contacts a transmission line support bracket, preventing installation. At that point I had already purchased a dozen of the 51516 filters... silly me for making an assumption. I really wanted to use them so I grinded a bit off the top of the bracket to make them fit LOL. Once the threads catch and the filter is spun onto the base, there is much more than 0.10 inch clearance, more like 0.75 inch. The bracket was preventing it from getting the right angle to catch the mounting threads.
I hope this is helpful (y)
