Post your latest oil change

2019 Nissan Frontier 4.0 , 50k mile mark, 7k on oil, 14k on filter

Out PP 5/30 Euro L, M1 110A

In QSFS 10/30, M1 110A

I think I will stick with the QSFS 10/30 because it cheap enough and easy to get at Walmart. No PP 10/30 or Havaline 10/30 FS
on the shelves. Super tech not good on price point.

2020 Honda CRV EX-L 23,100 miles

Out: Mobil1 5W-20 EP, M110A filter

In: Mobil1 0W-30 AFE, M110A filter

Will do a UOA at 3K to see if this stands up to thinning better than 0W-20
Do you have a UOA of 0W20 at 3K already? That would be the best way to compare.

I have one at 2.5K that shows dilution at 2.5% and thinned below grade, also one at 4.2K at 3.5% also thinned below grade. I'm thinking a 3K UOA will give me a fair look at the 0W-30. This was suggested, not only here but by my Honda Certified Master Technician and his service manager after closely looking at my UOA's, checking everything on the CRV that can be checked. Interestingly, my 2 previous Civics, a 16 and a 19 ran virtually perfect UOA's with Mobil1 0W-20 AFE at 5K intervals. My mechanic has heard rumors of an improved fuel injector with different metering for the CRV. Honda has been through several tweaks, twists and turns with this engine trying to resolve dilution which appears in some, not all of the them. There's quite a bit of discussion in the CivicX forum on dilution issues, haven't checked the Accord forums. Apparently many 1.5t engines have long and trouble-free lives, I just find the UOA's on my CRV's troubling.
