I stick to a 6-month interval since the Camry sees a harsh life. My commute is 1.3 miles one-way and the vehicle only sees in-town driving; roughly 300 miles/month. 6-month OCI makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I bought the QSHM when there was a promotion at Walmart for a $5 gift card. $15.47 for the oil, $5.00 gift card used towards the silicone ADBV-equipped OCOD ($3.77 plus tax). All good until April.

2017 Kia Rio, 45.5k mi

Out: ~3.5 qt Rotella T5 15w40
Miles on Oil: Roughly 4k
Hours on Oil: 88.5

In: (Leftovers)
1/2 qt Supertech full syn 10w30,
1/2 qt Rotella T5 15w40,
1 qt Valvoline Maxlife (synthetic blend) 10w40,
1 quart Delo 1300 15w40

Also did a valve cleaning. Tried to find CRC intake valve cleaner (spray) but found a royal purple analogue.
Just to note, the spray head on the royal purple type is poor and leaked out all over my hands, roughly up to a quarter of what came out just redirected off the head and
went back down the sides and dripped everywhere. I took it off and hooked a pvc tube to the tip, with the end to the intake side and it fed cleanly (gently used pliers to grab and depress the tip with the tube sleeved on.)
Let it soak overnight after using the whole can (dispensing the can took 5-10 minutes with looong bursts.) I also changed the old oil immediately after this session, and the old oil smelled unusual.
In the morning, within driving a few minutes (10), the car nearly stalled (very briefly) mid-turn. I was very confused until I saw the small cumulonimbus that was ejecting from the car's behind.
