Out: PUP 5w30 - 8530 km / 5300 miles. MM was 5% before changing the oil. I took oil sample for UOA.

In: PUP 5w30 - Aiming 10000 km OCI.

No filter change.
 
2014 jeep wrangler

Roughly 6k mile OCI


OUT: castrol edge 5w20 purolator filter

IN: Valvoline Full synthetic high mileage 5w30
Denso First time fit cartridge filter
 
I just did the second oil change on my Corvette today, with 3141 miles on it.

Out: M1 5w30 and AC Delco PF64 with 2030 miles on them
In: M1 5w30 ESP and a Fram Ultra
 
2006 BMW 325ci 60,978 Miles

Out: 7 quarts M1 0w-40 (last of the LL-01 approved batch) and a MANN HU 925/4X filter. Approx 2 years and 5 months /13342 miles on combo.

About 1500 Miles left on OLM.

In: 7 quarts of Valvoline SynPower 0w-40 and another MANN 925/4x

It was time for the oil filter to be changed after 2 years, so I had it done at a local shop, hence the Castrol. Will go back to Valvoline when I change the oil next.
 
2007 Ford Fusion 2.3 with 225K on the engine at 10K OCIs. All with M1 20wt oils.

Out: M1 0-20EP

In: M1 0-20EP

Oil Filter: MC FL2017B Cartridge.
 
2016 Durango Limited 3.6L, 49,800Km

Out: Mobil 1 AFE 0w-20 w/Mopar filter
In: Mobil 1 AFE 0w-20 w/Mopar filter

OCI was roughly 6,800Km (a bit short).

Yup, we bought a fair bit of it when it was on sale at CT. Prior to the AFE we were using Castrol Edge 0w-20 in it for the same reason. Generally I prefer the Mobil products, and AFE has a decent slug of PAO in it, so it is a good choice. Zero consumption between changes too. I'd run the EP 0w-20 if I could get it, but it is a rare duck up here unfortunately.

That's a pretty big vehicle for the 3.6L. Is that enough power for it?

I now have about 430K in my last three Ford engines with M1 0-20 and most of that with AFE. Generally no oil consumption at all. However the 2007 Fusion 2.3 does use 2-5 oz per 10K OCI,

Truck is louder on 10w30 redline in a mds hemi, will go back to 5w30 redline permanently.

It isn't bad, the 8 speed really helps. But it has to downshift (sometimes twice) for hills the Jeep just goes straight up with the converter locked in 8th, LOL
