Since my back is a bit tweaked out, and instead of waiting maybe a couple weeks or so...
Wife's 01 Escape - for the 1st time took it in for a oil/filter change and tried the recent open Firestone nearby.
Kendall blend and their stock filters, and they gave a discount making it $25 and some change. Tempting at such a price.
I know I won't take my DD there because of a TSB on the filter and they won't use my brought in filter although I bought them at the Hyundai dealer.

Just drained 7,650 mile Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 from my wife's Honda Fit.
Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w20 now in for 7,500-8,000 miles.

Out: an eclectic mix containing liqui-moly 0w-40,a quart of Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 and a couple quarts of devlac elite 222 0w30 that I put in after pumping a few quarts out.
Filter was a pure 1 left on for 12000 miles.
In: pennzoil ultra 5w-20 and a quart of devlac elite 222 0w30 and a fram ultra filter. Filter will go the 25000 miles since I know this engine is spotless.
