Royal Purple 15w40 in my '88 Vanagon crankcase, with a K&N oil filter.

I was running G-oil 5w30, but that just seems to be a bit too thin for my engine. It almost qualifies as a 5w-20. My idle oil pressure when hot would drop a bit lower than I am comfortable with. I wish they would come out with a slightly thicker version of the stuff.
