OK1ll, How will that 10-60 work in Canada next winter when it's -25F?

2001 GMC Savana - 5 qt. Valvoline 10w30, AC-Delco PF-47 non-ecore. The filter behind it on the shelf, also PF-47 was an Ecore. Maybe Purolator next time.

1996 Mitsubishi Mirage "S" 1.5L
Napa Synthetic 5w30
PureOne filter (didn't change it)
186,063 miles

You wouldn't believe how clean it is under the valve cover. I'm the third owner, and it was owned by a 20-something woman.

2003 Buick Park Avenue, non-supercharged 3800 engine
10W-30 Mobil 5000, with a couple doses of MMO and Formula Shell top-up oil; Wix filter
40% oil life left after 6 months and 4400 miles, fairly high percentage of city driving

New fill: 10w30 Mobil conventional
Filter: unsure. I'd bought another Wix but forgot to bring it and the oil to my mechanic; I'll check to see if he used a (cough, cough) Fram
Plan: run to December/January, 4000-5000 miles

No worries Tig, it'll have Mobil 1 0w40 in it by that time. Also, no plans on running this car in the winter anyway.

Just got back from my friends garage. On vacation this week so I figured I'll do the oil change in my wife's car. I work at a Ford dealer in parts. I always run Motorcraft filters, but a Napa store is only a mile and a half away from my freinds garage, so I got a Wix gold at jobber price.

I do the changes myself.

My wife got a 2008 Ford Taurus X AWD with a 3.5 V6.

Used A Wix Gold Napa filter

A five quart jug of Mobil Super 5000 conventional 5W20 from Wal-Mart for $12.00

One quart of Pennzoil Platinum 5W20..
