GF's Smart Forfour

Out Motul 8100 0W40
In: Motul 8100 0W40
Filter: Mann W67

I actually made her bought the oil on sale a few months ago, and the filter like a year ago, and today I made her change the oil herself!
It is really easy on her car, easy access without even lifting the car, and the filter is easy to reach too through the boot, but this is the first step through marriage, don't you think? (lol)

Not sure if you were asking me, but yes, on the Smart you can. Actually you can on all cars in my sig but the Colt!

'02 Chevy Camaro, 247300 miles

Out: 50/50 mix of M1 0w20 EP & M1 0w40 EF, Bosch Premium Filter
In: 50/50 mix of PU 5w30 & PUE 5w40, Wix XP Filter

Used 5.5 quarts in 10k miles

2001 Subaru Forester, 209k miles

Out: Rotella T6 + Liqui Moly MOS2, Bosch Distance Plus Filter
In: Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage 5W-30 + Liqui Moly Ceratec, M1 Filter

Also did a Liqui Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush before draining the Rotella. There was some mechanical tapping at startup that goes away after the car is hot; don't know if it was all the engine flush (UOA sample wasn't that dirty, oil after flush was BLACK!) or if it was the PPHM or Ceratec, but after the 2nd day the tapping noise is not only much quieter on a cold start, but disappears long before the temp gauge ever comes off 'C'.

Should get UOA today.

2002 Hyundai Elantra. ~189000 miles, 3990 on oil

In: MaxLife 10W-30. Microgard filter.
