Advanced Clean? 👀
I just went and looked at the jug; Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w20

I've been using Mobil 1 for so long; I don't think too much past the weight. Maybe I should?
I do use a lot of the High Mileage version. My mantra is simple; 5K OCIs and swap the filter every 2nd service. The MityVac makes services easy peasey.
And drive 'em until the hubcaps fall off!

I agree with driving till the wheels fall off! 320k miles on the ‘12 F150, dings, scratches, stains in the interior but it runs like new and does not give any major issues…..keep em running!

2021 Audi SQ5 Sportback Prestige (3.0 TFSI)

Mileage: 27,755 miles
OCI: 5,078 miles

Out: Valvoline Restore and Protect 0W20
Off: OEM Cartridge Filter P/N 06M198405F
In: Mobil 1 ESP X2 0w20
On: OEM Cartridge Filter P/N 06M198405F
Are you already burning oil? Why Valvoline Restore and Protect in an Audi so early?

And why 0W-20? If you can swing an SQ5, I doubt you're worried about 0.1 MPG fuel economy.

2022 RAM 1500 4WD 5.7 HEMI
HPL 5W-40 Super Car Engine Oil 7.2 Qts
M1-113A Mobil 1 Oil Filter

Note: OCI represents change from HPL 0W-20 Premium Plus Passenger Car Engine Oil to HPL 5W-40 Super Car Engine Oil at 106,610 miles. Engine Burns no oil.

The SQ5 is a grocery-getter - lots of short trip, stop-and-go, etc., so I wanted to use the Valvoline Restore and Protect for 5k miles to clean-up any built-up carbon from the many short cycles it sees.

0W-20 choice because it see lots of start-ups, shut-downs, and with these short trips, so thin(ner) for cold & multiple starts over the 5k-mi interval. It is the Mrs.'s primary car, and she's not one to make use of high-rev band of the engine.

I sent in a used oil analysis yesterday, so I'll see where the wear (metal conc.) is. 🤓

Yeah agree. I haven't been impressed with what I've seen here on it. It would be my absolute last Mobil 1 choice.
I started to use it when I was looking for a 0W-30 and it was one of the few choices at the time (I'm talking years ago).
I'll drain the last fill of it that I'm currently running in a winter runabout, then not buy it again. That was the last one I had in my stash (y)

In: 1 quart HPL Engine Cleaner
5 quarts Valvoline Restore and Protect

Between your shorter OCI's, oils chosen, and throwing in some HPL Engine Cleaner; your motor should be squeaky clean and stay that way. Planning on shorter OCI's for the duration of ownership?

Your engine appears to be up under the cowl by a good bit more than my 2015 Hemi Ram. Is that how they made the cab bigger without changing overall length?

No clue if the engine position relative yo the cowl was part of the cabin’s size (but what you are saying sure makes sense!). It is not exaggerated by the picture but yes, it is “back there.”

I can’t tell you that if RAM made the brake booster any larger, you wouldn’t be able to remove the two spark plugs nor the ignition coil next to it!

And it matters because my hands were bleeding by the time I was done changing the spark plugs.

I run this Armada like a GT-R and the chief engine builder for the VR38DDTT in the GT-R said he would change his oil every 2,000 miles. Granted the Armada is a VR35DDTT I will run it max 3,000 miles. Maybe 3,500 if I'm lazy.

Why did you already have to change plugs? I only have 80k on my truck. Plugs are rated to 100k. I was planning on doing mine from below through the wheel wells.

I bought NGK Ruthenium HX plugs on the cheap last year. So when my truck turned 103,000 miles, I swapped out the NGK Iridium IXs to the Rutheniums HXs. Obviously, the NGK Iridium’s were in wonderful condition (see pic). This is why I only use NGK spark plugs. 😉

(Rutheniums plugs were not selling well a couple years ago and several on-line vendors had them priced below the NGK Iridium IXs and Laser varieties; currently, Rutheniums are equal or more costly than the Iridium varieties).

And because I am a nerd organic chemist, Ruthenium just sounded Way Cool Jr. 🎶
