We're you able to suck all the oil out with the mity vac? When I did a 2015 F-150 3.5 EB it only got about 2.5 qts, and I had to drain the rest from below.

2016 Toyota Camry 2.5L 4 cyl- 150,870 miles on car. OCI: 3000 miles (this one’s early for convenience)

I run 5w-30 in my camry compared to the 0w-20 it recommends. I live where winters don't get below 20 degrees Fahrenheit and it often gets to 100 in the summer and I have no issues, it runs amazingly. It's perfectly fine to run even in pretty cold from what I can tell, it only recommends 0w-20 because of the EPA and fuel efficiency requirements. I just let it warm up for 5 minutes in the winter and a minute in the summer for safe measure.

2016 Ford Fusion 2.0 ecoboost
5.7 qts Supertech 5w30 high mileage full synthetic, Supertech ST3614 oil filter. This run over the winter had less than 3,000 miles on it. On this car I prefer to do short intervals with inexpensive synthetics. Out of all the vehicles I've owned I think this car is the hardest on oil.
Agreed. I always do ~4500 mile OCI (thats when maint required light comes on) regardless of expensive or cheap FS motor oil. Granted, I do a lot more highway than city driving and never take my car above 3k rpm.

My father in law got a 2021 Ecoboost F150 last year and I recently asked him about oil and he said “I’ve only done about 5,000 miles but it’s full synthetic I can go a year” 🤦‍♂️

Hit it with an OEM filter and 6 quarts of M1 EP for the next 5,000 miles.
Why wouldn't he be able to go a year on a full synthetic? Even his OLM will tell him that, lol!
Just kidding; I would be changing it at 5,000 miles as well. Good on you for doing the oil change at 5K 😁
