After a year of Toyota 0w-20 synthetic, I went back to Mobil1 5w-30.
Running like a top. 85k miles. Used it at the beginning, then tried Kendall GT1, then GC Castrol until it ran dry, then Royal Purple, now back to square one.
I initially and continually ran 5w-20 as it seemed Scion changed the 2AZFE motor to 5w-20, but it was cleared up by an email from Toyota and I'm back n the 5w-30 again.
Using a Mobil1 oil filter as I got a deal on the package, but had been using the PureOne. Gotta mix things up I s'pose
