Really? Would never have considered AFE for a wet clutched bike. Any particlar reason driving that choice? Interesting. Used T5 in my FJR last year & have also used GC green once. Mostly used T6 & D1 in it.

Seriously John... AFE is not an additive nor is it a API test... AFE is just oil can
marketing aimed at cagers who close their wallets with a torque wrench... what AFE means
to me is less internal drag and more rear wheel HP... 0W-30 Mobil 1 is my choice because
it falls within the official Honda Owners manual which requires an oil that meets or
exceeds the 10W-30 SE SF or SG ...

True to its racing intent Mr.Honda's RC45 comes stock with a close ratio gear box with a
tall first gear good for 90mph... consequently they are known to incinerate clutch
plates... but since 1998 I've been chasing my shadow down the perverted highway and have
racked up over 55K miles (not in moderation either) I've never experienced clutch slip
due my choice of 30 weight oils... what confuses owners is the fact that all wet clutches
reach a point in their service life and begin to slip... at that point the culprit is not
the oil but the mileage on the clutch...

John when you say T5 & T6 do you mean Torco???

It's all good, no worries. Besides the Vtec is rather fun when it kicks in.

If i'm ever out in Cali(doubtful), I might just hit you up for a ride on the RC45.
