Post your latest differential oil/transfer case change

2020 Ram 1599 Classic. 85ish thousand km. Out was very likely factory fill, judging by the low fill line and the grey color.

In went Co-op Gear Oil SL, group 4 based 75w90. Same as previously used. I failed to mention, this is the newest flavor, "fuel efficient" it has slightly better cold flow properties and about 1.5 cSt thinner than the other blend. I paid 16.43$ a litre out the door.

Alright, just did the transfer case on the 1500 classic. Drove the truck up on 4 ramps and crawled under. These classics are a fickle bunch. Devoid of a lot of features. No skid plates to contend with.

Out was likely factory fill, darker brown fluid, likely Mobil LT as thats what the manual calls for. Its not the 48-11 case so no auto feature. In went Co-op ATF SL. If the plugs were magnetic, there was nothing to note on them.

Jut did my 5th gen 4Runner at 45k miles. Used Redline 75w90 for the front and rear diffs, Redline MT-LV 70W/74W for the transfer case.

On wife's 2016 Ford Explorer with 55K miles. Drain and refill transmission, 6 qts of Mobil 1 full synthetic multi-vehicle ATF back in. This was second time for drain and refill, previous refill was with Supertech Mercon V at 30K miles.

Same car, drained and refilled the PTU. I have a drain plug I added, makes the process fairly easy. About 16 oz of Motorcraft full synthetic 75w-140 gear oil back in. The PTU has a very low capacity (16-18 oz from empty!) and sits in a high heat, low airflow area. This is the second drain and refill I have done, previous was at 30K and when I drilled and tapped for the drain plug. Fluid replacement is cheap insurance.
