Yeah, it's been getting even worse in the past 6 months or so. Oh well, maybe some day when I'm feeling productive I'll repaint it or just strip the paint off.

ThirdYe,

What makes your photo great is not that your are pouring Havoline into your engine....is that fact that your spark plug wires are evenly spaced apart.

The two pictures above are great, as they show the difference in the Havoline bottles from Canada to the US. If Yuk's oil was bought recently, it IS DS Havoline, but Canadian packaging regulations make them have to package it in the 'old style bottles'....neat to see!

I guess next winter I'll have to post a few pics of the mice nests that accumulate on my S-10 engine when its gets cold....

this is NOT a joke, I don't use the truck a lot (1992, 28K miles), and rodents find a way into the engine compartment when the truck sits for more than a few weeks and it gets colder outside....

maybe tomorrow I can show some of the damage they did chewing off the hood liner material, which they use to make nests....also a few wires nibbled on!

Wow! Nice job. I bet that thing scoots down the road with the best of them.

Its tentatively on eBay now (reserve is $1450). Would definitely settle for less through non-auction source locally. Its my first car, owned for 12+ years, but it just sits and doesn't get cared for anymore (light surface rust on hood - but no serious stuff; original CA car). Don't have the time or money to put into it now.
More info can be requested via PM (so we don't offtrack the thread too much). More pics can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/surfstar101
