The 2.5 is basically the 4.0L block with two cylinders cut off, and the remaining 4 were bored and the pistons have longer strokes, along with a slightly redesigned head.

Amazingly I have no photos of the engine bay of my GTO, only truck:

It's nice to see some clean, well kept older vehicles like the Accord and C1500. The typical 16 year old vehicle has 16 years of grime and oil all over the engine compartment.

This is how it looked when I got it

don't have any current pics, but I put the stock intake box back in, removed some clutter, and have a new intake manifold for it, here is a pic of the updated intake

Nice. I have the same spark plug wires. Did you notice the wires not making a very good seal at the top of the valve cover with them? The rubber that's supposed to make a seal around the top is all warped on mine, even only a few months after I bought them. Interesting that your brake fluid reservoir looks different than mine as well. They must've changed those over the years. I also didn't know that the PCV valve is located right on the valve cover on the newer B18B valve covers. mine's located below it on the intake manifold. My oil cap also doesn't show the oil grade on it, just says "Honda" with the words "Oil and Huile" Anyways, i'm rambling, just fun to see the differences over the years.

Talk about a die hard motor! No frills there.

Reminds me of my Jetta with mechanical Fuel injection. Those engines just last and last.
