I went today to mail a sample to oilguard. I have mailed three samples before. This is my fourth sample. The previous three times I got a little hassle about the container not taped enough and the clerk kindly applied extra tape for me. no problem. This time big time hassle..
I go up to the different clerk, she gives kinda "umm..what is this oil?" I say yes, in a small container. she knew it was oil by the oilguard label. she says "I don't think we can mail this" I tell her, I have mailed three other samples before no problem. She goes to her coworker and asks her about mailing oil. again, her coworker says same thing about oil is hazardouz and that small black container will come open and spill everywhere. I explained to her, it's taped down sufficiently and the small container inside is taped down too. She said something about need to ship it in a box next time. She went ahead and took it, stamped it and shipped. I was pretty peeved especially when she tried to upsell me all the services they got..sign. confirmation..priority mail... Next time, I'm going to stick 4 stamps on it and put it in the mailbox any problems doing this?
