Post milestone or just plain fun odometer pics!

A honest 34 mpg average over a tank of 93 ethanol free

and on the other end of the spectrum a low of 15 mpg also on ethanol free.

the 34 mpg was mostly 5 and 6 gear on highway while the 15 mpg was cold idle / start up and exercising the rpms.

It’s something though this car can have such a wide range in mpgs.

As I pulled on to my road. Been a great truck for being 33 years old now and low mileage for its age in my opinion. Been driving it around last few nights as I’m home alone this week lol. I don’t drive it as often as I used too mainly because of my long commute to work and lack of safety features because I encounter numerous idiots on the road lol. Also it has Armstrong A/C as my dad calls it (window cranks) lol. Also it doesn’t like to climb the large mountain I have to go up. It’s a SE-5 package, white rims 14 inch. Only the SE-5 had the white rims that year. This is the 1989 Mazda B2200 in my signature. I’ve posted about it pretty frequently here I just like sharing the story for those who don’t know. Everyone always starts talking about it when I pull up somewhere how they used to have one or their brother or someone lol. Then they see it’s a manual then most lose interest really quick lol. Don’t know why you would want an automatic mini truck lol. Guess they can’t drive stick. And this is RWD single cab. I believe they also offered 4WD for this style as well.

I know the original owners of this truck. His wife was a bus driver in my school district. She was excited to see it back in the area as it disappeared for awhile in a couple towns over. It sat under a carport for 7 years because her husband wouldn’t give it up when he wasn’t able to drive anymore. Then he passed and the truck got sold. Then I bought it a few years later so I’m a 3rd owner.

Only took 2 motors and a top end to make it… bad mechanic is part of the blame. It was a struggle to get here.
