Possible audio forum?

Good morning,

Any possibility of creating an audio forum under the general and off topic forum?
A place to discuss analog, digital, audiophile, equipment and so many of the other topics of concern.
Aside from oil (my reason for joining) I have seen a number of members with a great degree of knowledge in audio answering questions for others.

Home and automotive - vehicles often being more DIY …

I'm curious: with so many audio forums already out there, each with a different perspective, what is the benefit of starting one here? Speaking for myself, for audio questions I go to those places rather than here simply because that's where the experts and good advice is found. Same reason I come here for topics related to automotive, oil and wrenching.

Along those lines, if an audio subforum here focuses primarily on automotive, that could make sense.

Audiokarma has been around for a long time and has lots of good info if you're looking to discuss hi-fi.

I suggested an Obituary forum to keep the sludge down and was slapped hard a few years ago by the superiors...
I still think it's a great idea

There's already a "Consumer Electronics" sub-forum which seems more than adequate for this topic. I don't recall too many topics related to this anyway and saying "it's because there's no sub-forum for it" is grasping, IMO.

Not only that - many sites are trying to “peddle product” … if one asks a question here - someone current like Brendan would know the pitfalls … and when you might need an aftermarket alternator etc …
Using combinations of mass loading material and CC foam etc - does more than just enhance the sound system - done wrong it’s allot of money wasted …
