Pool filter question

24ft above ground round pool. Pentair powder filter system. Baquacil. My question is about the 2 filters. I have one in use and one ready to go. Then I swap and the other one gets cleaned up and dried. And so on. They look the same. Appear to have the same mesh. Both are cleaned with the same chemical dunk. Both are stored the same way. Both look identical. But one fouls very fast and requires twice as much cleaning as the other.

Are pool filters like oil and air filters, where they have different efficiency ratings?

Yep, what he said. That's where I've found some great advice. Although the first thing someone is going to say over there is dump the Baquacil, but they'll still help out.
