Polaris reverse over-ride

Does anyone know how to by pass the reverse over ride on older two stroke polaris four wheelers, pre model 2000. It is effecting the idle. It comes and goes and its in that button/switch. You can hear the idle change with the switch and getting it to idle correctly and have the switch start again is driving me insane.I know I will figure it out this weekend, but if someone already knows, it would be a short cut. Its either got to be disconnecting the wires or joining them, so the overide is constant. Any advice apprieated. Thanks.

I now know how to dis-connect the reverse override on Older Polaris two strokes. Its the non-shielded black wire , that hooks into the same junction box as cdi/ignition on the wire panel. Unplug it and BAM, instant smooth idle.
