Pocket knife recommendations?

If you can find some New Old Stock, the USA made Marbles knives were really nice IMO.

The newer ones, sourced from China and India are mere shadows of the former MSA quality...and the price reflects it.

Thanks for all of the recommendations guys. After some investigating I was able to determine he wanted something similar to his old knife which was a silver Buck knife, I don't remember the exact model. But, I ended up purchasing the Case Executive. It is close to his old knife and easily engravable. While shopping for it I couldn't help but purchase the Case Texas Toothpick with the blue bone handle for myself because I recently lost my knife. I am truly happy with the quality of both knives. Very solid structure and hand made right here in the USA.

Thanks again!

You can get Buck knives at K-mart. They look pretty good. Not as big as a "K-bar" for a Marine.. but nice.

I have a Kodiak folding blade, and i might get the same from Craftsman. Oops.. Kobalt, not Kodiak.

And yes, im sure it could be used for self-defense.
