Hi,
I have two long-duration, large nailing jobs that I will be doing over the next few years. Im sure other jobs will come along in time, so I am prepared to make an investment on a half decent pneumatic nailer within the next 6 months... i want to start doing my research soon.
What I will be doing in the plans currently is to put up my tongue and groove porch ceiling (to make it look like ca. 1930 again), and add crown moulding in a number of rooms. Given all the nailing over my head, not to mention all the beating upon the plaster walls should I hammer it all, I think it is worth it to get a nailer.
I think that what I need is a 'finish' nailer, for applying these items... certainly not a framing or similar nailer. Lowe's has a nice, very light bostich titanium one for a reasonable price, as well as many other options. i dont care where I buy from, but I prefer that my tools are of US origin, and if not, then Japanese or German.
It has to be able to drive the nails correctly to install tongue and groove ceilings, as well as crown moulding... what do you reccomend?
Thanks,
JMH
