Having dinner in a Madison, Wi bar, killing time before a flight to El Paso, TX tomorrow l. I look up and see something I had no idea was a sport.

I see corn hole on the television, and the players have sponsors.

Another example of how one can make it big with so little in the U.S. Will beer pong be next?

I wasn't able to capture on camera the winner of the match being interviewed by a very fashionable female sportscaster on the hard fought and strategic win by the winning player.

Corn hole and Pickleball, no conotations there. :D

Things got serious when Cardinal relief pitcher Jason Mott started the craze that took off.

You must have missed the dog jumping event on ESPN a couple weeks ago. One class winner was a Corgi who jumped 9 feet before grabbing the baton hanging above the swimming pool. The big winner was a Whippet who jumped 29 feet for the win in its class.

Because it's there and cinema majors need something to keep busy with. There was also a recent big lull in shooting and production work during the recent screen writers strike so I bet there was a lot of this kind of thing being done the past year.

I won't watch but just flipping through channels, I've ran across "sports" and never would have thought it was big enough to warrant broadcast.

- Dogs and frisbee-catching
- Axe and knife throwing
- Air guitar
- Foosball
