That's not the condo. That's in front of my house. Driver stopped for about 10 minutes. Condos are a few streets away.Sure, could not tell from the picture.

Oh, your pic was not of the location of tow, it was just an observation. I thought they towed the car, parked on the street. That's not the condo. That's in front of my house. Driver stopped for about 10 minutes. Condos are a few streets away.
You would think but not always the case...If they can afford a BMW….. they can afford to get it out of the impound yard.
Dude that's like a 15 year old 3 seriesIf they can afford a BMW….. they can afford to get it out of the impound yard.
I have lusted after those beautiful BMWs forever. When I saw it, I had to ask the tow truck driver what was going on. Maybe I could get some kinda killer deal if ....Oh, your pic was not of the location of tow, it was just an observation. I thought they towed the car, parked on the street.
Tell the truth the BMW was parked in front of your house, and out of disgust, you called 5O.
I wouldn't be the least bit concerned over doing a job at hand regardless of location, wealth, etc. That seems to instill false hope/superiority in some thinking they can get what they want when they want and they simply need a reality check... Could you honestly fear ANYONE driving a BMW or otherwise, bwahaha?I would be terrified to have his job. The rich people around here all mean business; that's how they got rich.
Amazing that you really push the BMW side of things only to settle for DeCrappi wannabe eXpresso, bwahaha.I already have electric machine to admire. Does same thing:

You know where I live; c'mon over. The water's fine. Ever been in a genuine 10 second car? You will never forget it.
Here's Joe SixPack, who sez he has never been to a track before. Some people are getting 10.6+ times.
I was thinking the same, until I realized the motor sounds were from the nearby car he was racing. It sounds like the car was shifting. I though xmissions in Teslas, and most EVs, are just one speed....

Real life tow truck turf wars in Chicago recently...So does the tow truck just tool around looking for a payday? 10 minutes is pretty quick.
A good towing channel is "Gtoger" on Youtube. He had a business in a Dallas neighborhood that used to be just empty factories, but it had become increasingly gentrified and now every Friday and Saturday night his private lot gets filled with suburban kids in their parent's SUVs, looking for a place to park while they go to the various brewpubs and clubs that have opened nearby. Despite a dozen or more "No Parking" signs, they park there anyway.... And the guy calls to get them towed because his business is open 24/7 and he needs the spaces available for contractors and customers. It is all caught on camera when the tipsy young people come back dumbfounded, looking everywhere for their lost cars and some of them have a hissy fit or kick the fence (or pee on it). All good fun.To see what they can do, in Nevada anyway, watch Sin City Tow on Discover. I used to think they had to be called by the manager. Au contraire. Red zone, handicapped parking, posted no parking, etc. they can hook and tow on the spot. Business they contract with across the street from a bar or strip club, after hours, anything in their lot is fair game. Seems like half their business results from cruising and spotting.
The shifting is the other lane.It sounds like the car was shifting. I though xmissions in Teslas, and most EVs, are just one speed.
Doesn't power to the motors drop as battery charge drops?
Driver told me it was "Private property tow". I think he said red zone...Could be a repossession.
It gets very entertaining at times.A good towing channel is "Gtoger" on Youtube...

While that may be true in Jeff’s neighborhood, it is not necessarily true. You would be surprised how many people are “car poor” - maxed out on payments, buying more car than they should, no cash reserves. If they can afford a BMW….. they can afford to get it out of the impound yard.
