My last repair lasted a couple years, highly doubtful you'll find a good one at the wreckers- just a crap design. Also thinking of straight up fiberglass resin. Will reinforce as well and torque bolts lightly, mounted on carpet. Drilled out the holes larger so any misalignment won't stress it more.

I used the same JB Weld reinforced with embedded window screen on the backside of thin cheap wheel well trim that cracked on the travel trailer and it's holding up after 3 trips. Surface prep is important.
I have had some success with Bob Smith Industries Epoxy.
For a crack its best if you bond another piece on top as well - if there is space where it installs.

A technique I have seen used for broken plastic on retro computer cases is UV-curable resin. I wonder if that would also work well for plastic in vehicles?
I repaired a cracked valve cover with this JB Weld product. 6000 miles on the repair and no leaks yet.
