It was barely underground. A magnet sticks to it.

In 1978 I lived in a low set house with 2 other guys in The Nutmeg State.
One of them replaced the heat exchanger on a VW bug, tossing the old one into the neighboring, boggy wooded lot.
One more house has been added on the woods side.
I wonder if a similar part discovery story will come of it.
