Does anyone have experience with St tires which were the forerunner to the Angel GT SERIES. Thinking about a set and would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks
Smoky

They are an old tire now. The newer Sport Touring tires from Pirelli, Bridgestone, Dunlop, and Michelin are all better tires in almost every parameter, except cost. They are still made as a budget option in the Pirelli Sport Touring line. All the other manufacturers have older model tires in their respective lines for the same reason.

They were the a top tier tire when they were first introduced, and will work fine. Newer generation tires are "better" from an overall ride comfort, bad road conditions and mileage perspective all else equal.

I am partial to Dunlop Roadsmart III or IV tires. Yes, more expensive. However, the RS 4's are the longest lasting of any sport touring tire I have tried and the best feel/handling as well. The comparison for me is valid vs the Roadsmart 3, Roadsmart 2, Angel GT, Shinko Verge, Shinko Raven, Shinko Advance.

When I bought my bike over a year ago, it had Pirelli Night Dragon tires on it. I loved them, but couldn't find any place to buy them. The tires that came on the bike were over 10 years old, that's the only reason I got new tires. I'm not sure if they're still in production.,,
