I get my Charger washed at the local Dirtbuster touch less car wash every week which uses Lustra products. I decided to take some pictures today after the wash to show what a good touch less car wash can do. I get it washed with the $7 premium wash which includes; undercarriage wash, double pass hot foaming pre-soak, wash soap, Lustra triple foaming polish, Lustra clear coat protectant, rinse, spot free rinse, and a blow dry.

The rims I did myself afterward at home. They are OEM chrome (chrome plated) so I simply spray them down with window cleaner and whipe with a paper towel. A completely different and easier way than one would have to with real chrome. I haven't washed the rims by hand since June, the ArmorAll Wheel Protectant truly is a great product. There was only a slight dust residue which easily whipped right off. I strongly urge you to try it if you haven't. I cannot say enough about the product, I use to wash rims by hand every wash but because of the ArmorAll I can go months before a hand wash. The slight blue discoloration on some parts of the rim is due to fresh wheel protectant, once it dries the rim looks completely normal.

Nice! I like seeing what's doable with a good car wash, no matter the type!

That'll keep the car looking sharp, even through the fall and winter.

I haven't used tire products on the car. I have on previous vehicles but upon joining BITOG and learning about possible problems using the products (premature dryrot, cracking, etc.) I'm siding on the protective side and just playing it safe by not using the tire products. To be honest, I prefer the non glossy finishes anyway. My tire usually looks better then it does now but I scuffed a sidewalk yesterday so it resulted in the brownish appearance of the tire. However, I am tempted to try some Meg's 40 or 303 but I haven't decided yay or nay yet.

Some products that I've used in the past which I liked:
Black Magic Tire Gloss (Favorite)
Black Magic Tire Foam
Meg's Hot Shine

Looks awesome I always like finding a good cheaper car wash that will get my car clean, where in IL are you around if your near me I will have to check out that wash.

I'm way down south in Carbondale. I prefer to hand wash but going to college living in an apartment doesn't make that an easy thing to do.

You might want to check out their site I think they have several other locations.

Go to your local coin-op car wash and blast the car down with high-pressure soap, followed by a high-pressure rinse, then a low-pressure spot-free. When you arrive in your college parking lot, mix 2 gals of warm water and 2-3 ounces of Optimum no-rinse to complete the wash process. This strategy works well for me since I do not have access to a hose at my apartment.
