Seeing those in Houston - where it had become almost all Exxon - the Mobil branded pumps are starting to re appear …View attachment 330978

Here in the Southeast (Charlotte, NC) the local Exxon / Mobil stations have all gotten a recent revamp with these red posts and prominent Synergy branding.
87 / 89 / 93 is the common Octane spread in this region, and some stations like this one offer 87 E0 on a dedicated line.
What used to be a 0.50 cent premium for 93 has climbed recently to 0.90![]()
Any idea what the E0 cost at this station you took pictures at? Just wondering what the spread was for that compared to regular E10 87 octane..View attachment 330978

People here would be filling up 4 wheeled boats. Two shots from an Esso pump in Canada. One with 91 Octane and one with 91 Octane with no road tax for boats. Enjoy.

Do you have a local GA airport close by? If so most now sell mogas which is non-ethanol fuel.wish we had these around here! you either buy gas at a gas station (cheaper) or on the water for a premium.
I see them once in a while - they were everywhere growing up.View attachment 341785
Found a random Texaco on backroads SC. Figured it was good enough for the old 5.4
See these occasionally around Atlanta too but none in Charlotte.
Gulf has been trying slowly to enter into the markets in this area for a couple of years. They are still fairly small penetration and far between stores. Several were older BPs or other brands moving over to, I assume, better deals.^^^ I really like those old style pumps. Nostalgia I guess.
While this was a new style setup I’ve never actually encountered a Gulf station before. This was near Travelers Rest SC
