Bought a set of the much hyped PIAA silicon wipers & regret getting this very expensive product.

The connection between the mount & the blade is weak. Mine failed after a couple of days while driving on the freeway. I tried to file a warranty claim, but got ghosted.

Turns out that customer service is just as bad as the wipers themselves. Cannot reccomend

I don’t have anything to contribute other than the name PIAA, despite being capitalized like an acronym, is not. It was named after the “pyahhh” sound when one switches a fog light on.

I use those on both my vehicles and have never had a problem. I have gone through 3-4 sets with no issues.

Replacement inserts here. I’ve tried just about every major aftermarket and they all lift off the windshield at 80mph. Plus an insert is a fraction of the cost. I used Piaa at one time and the price was crazy.

Bummer. I had a set that was amazing. They are the best wipers I've ever used. The blade itself is soft so heavy ice seems to wear them out. What type of connection is it a "j hook" or other type?

Mine have been great.

Streak and chatter free wiping for years.

But I buy the whole wiper to ensure I’ve got the correct PIAA frame and then replace the inserts with genuine PIAA.

Yeah me too. The cost is high but I’ve had nothing but stellar performance and marked longevity out of them.

How did they fail and where did you buy them?
