Phoenixhardparts- Any good?

They have some really good prices for remanufactured transmissions, between $1000-$1500 shipped for most, after a core refund.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Also, Certified Transmissions (in the Midwest) seems to be quite large as well. They charge a bit more than Phoenixhardparts, but still much less than OEM units. Anyone have any experience with them? I'm thinking about buying a remanufactured Saturn transmission ($1530 shipped) from them when I need it. Their process seems top notch.

Phoenixhardparts will rob you blind...they have bad feedback at many consumer sights.

Have you checked with local rebuilders? If you pull the transmission yourself, and carry it into a local independent rebuilder, you might be able to get it done locally for $1500.
