I installed some of these in a set of Eurolamps housings and they are incredible. Twice as bright as my stock 4703 sealed beams.

I have a set of these on order, in a 9007 configuration. I am curious to see if there is any improvement over the Vision Plus +50's I currently have.

I ordered mine from suvlights.com, I've used them for years for all my light purchases. As for lumen ratings, they have all the specs on their site.

I also am running these bulbs. Very bright indeed. No silly blue filtered glass, just a super bright and naturally whiter light. I purchased them from powerbulbs.com in the UK.

Interestingly, I swapped out the OE Philips Long-Life H7 bulbs in my GTI for a set of the Xtreme Power bulbs, and found no difference. Zero, zilch, zip...

I changed them one at a time, just so I could compare them side-by-side. From all perspectives, there were no perceived differences. It might be cheaper to just buy a set of Long-Life bulbs.

To rshunter.... I think you are in the minority on this one. maybe it is the design of your actual headlamp lens or something like that. When I changed to these in my 07 Honda Accord I installed only one to compare and when it got dark and you backed out of the garage and t let the beam shine on the wall you could very clearly see that they were brighter then OEM....

You may be right. Then again, a new bulb will always be brighter than a used one, so everyone will be amazed by their new bulb's performance. As I've yet to find anything from Philips giving lumen outputs for their bulbs, it's all speculation. Until someone else cares to try out a pair of Long-Life bulbs against the Xtreme Power versions we'll never know how significant the difference is, if any.

The Long-Life bulbs in my GTI were unused, as North American market models aren't set up to use the inner lamps. The HID lamps are used exclusively for both low & high-beam settings. I reprogrammed my vehicle to an EU configuration, activating the H7 bulbs. I hadn't even turned on the lamps before installing the first Xtreme Power bulb, so both the LL and XP bulbs were seeing their first use at the same time.

I'll be happy to use your interpretation of the results, though. I can just sit back and revel in the superiority of German engineering...

I am wondering how the life of the bulb is expected. I have Osram Hypers 65/70watts in H-4 in my Honda CRV now. They only lasted 8 months and only used them rarely. I have the Philips Xtreme as replacements the next time my bulbs burn out. The Hypers are rated at 1350/1700 lumens if, I remember right.

I got two pairs of the Philips X-treme bulbs when they came out. I think that was 2 or 3 years ago. There's a post by me from back then on this forum. Both sets, low and high beams, are still fine. I use my lights frequently during the day.

My wife could use more light..

Don't take my previous post wrong, about not noticing a difference between the XP and LL bulbs, they're definitely a bright bulb. They're also a lot easier to get today than they were back when Mori got his.

You can find them in the automotive department at your local Meijer store. They were ~$50 the last time I checked. I bought mine from a UK source though and, even with shipping, I saved about 15%, IIRC.

Thanks! I'm going to check them out this week...

Phillips Xtreme Power bulbs is only available from oversea, but some UK online stores have free shipping and Bristish Pound is under-valued now so that it costs no more than $40/pair.

We don't have Meijers nor AAP in So Cal, I never saw Phillips Xtreme Power, actually any Phillips auto bulb, in any auto parts chain such as PB, Autozone, Kragen in Orange County, CA.
