Irrespective of that, I think you did a fine job. Having low DRLs isn't as big of an issue as having headlights too low, obviously. That looks to be a pretty good, high end kit, too.
I know all the grumbles about DRLs, and I agree with some of them, notably that we don't need vehicles with gauge illumination in the daytime which confuses some at night. The original GM implementation of DRLs in their trucks was darn near perfect. No gauge illumination. No DRLs when the parking brake was engaged. No tail lights or marker lights with DRLs on. When the DRLs were activated, a little green symbol lit in the gauge cluster. No fuss, no muss.
They've been around in Canada for a long time, and I can live with them. Automatic headlights, well, that I can do without, but that's another thread.
