I've been watching the highlights non-stop lol. What Foles did to New England in 2018 was great too, but this was a complete annihilation. I have nothing against KC, but it was icing on the cake to beat them the way we did.
So far, The Birds🦅🦅 are the dynasty destroyers of the NFL. It's great being anywhere in the Philly area...it's an awesome vibe. Got my haircut yesterday afternoon and the young woman cutting my hair and I just talked the Superbowl win, what food we had, standout plays and players. We're diggin' it here for sure.
I'm not heading in for the parade on Friday... although I guess I could hop on the SEPTA train in Media/Wawa( yes, there's actually a Wawa, PA)and head into that freak show....but I think not.

Being an Eagles fan in the 80's through 90's was painful. Had some of the worst teams in existence. Then we had Andy Reid as a coach from 99-2012 who led us to 3 NFC championship games (with McNabb) and Superbowl where we lost to NE. Years later Nick Foles steps in for Carson Wentz who was having an MVP year and wins the Super Bowl to beat Brady playing out of his mind. We sign Hurts, make it back to the Super Bowl and lose to the Chiefs by 3. Make it back there this year and destroy them.
I always was a EAGLES fan, as Steelers won’t ever go to another Super Bowl under Tomlin. I wonder what Nick Foles is doing now.

Born in Philly, raised in the burbs and I can tell you that was the dominant Super Bowl smack down I’ve wanted my whole life rooting for the Birds! Reminds me of the 90s super-bowl beat downs. The Eagles players found out that the Chiefs contacted Pat Riley about getting permission to use “3-peat” to celebrate their win… looks like it fired them up even more.
Born in Upper Darby, PA and grew up across the Ben Franklin Bridge in Cherry Hill, NJ. Lifelong Eagles fan and many games watched at Veteran's Stadium. I remember meeting Seth Joyner at the Duncan Donuts in Cherry Hill when he played, Vai Sikahema at the AMC Movie Theater in Marlton when he was player, and Jermiah Trotter at his carwash in Cherry Hill. The flowers bloomed alright!!

I'm very close to Cherry Hill and am in Cherry Hill pretty much every day. (y)

My brother is in Media, Pa.

Not sure if it's still there on Rt 70 in Cherry Hill but my favorite cheese steak was at Big Jon's it was near Danzeisen Quigley bike store.
The entire South Jersey, Northern Delaware and Philly suburbs are chock full of great cheese steak places and I don't mean Geno's or Pat's. Same for pizza...but cross Delaware out of that equation. Sorry, Grottos is a poor excuse for Trenton style pie.

The biggest factor in the game to me was that Philly absolutely dominated at the line of scrimmage. How KC won 2 super bowls with this offensive line is beyond me. And Travis Kelce in particular was getting drove on every play (as we used to say when I played) that he was assigned to stay in and block. He's a future Hall of Famer but he needs to retire yesterday. If I was Andy Reid I would cut him today.

Mahomes did throw a pick-6 but you can't pin this on him, he basically had zero time in the pocket all game. I love Xavier Worthy as he played for my alma mater but they should have used their first round pick on an offensive lineman, and traded for some other serviceable free agent OL. This KC OL was absolutely awful. Maybe evidenced by the fact that they had so many 1 score games during the regular season. They have enough skill position talent on offense to be much better, but if you can't block, it's hard to have success.

Yeah. The whole KC 3peat, dynasty, Mahomes is the GOAT talk died pretty quickly. Eagles saw to that.

Fresh beer in Phillies' bars...GUARANTEED!

Seriously, these are the very best times to go bar hopping. We're with you guys in spirit.
No way I'm going into Philly today. It's freezing out...but it's all happening right now.
Jason Kelce's epic, drunken rant after the 2017 SB, while dressed in that Mummers outfit, is to this day, pure gold.
