I thought they would win, but not in the way that they did.

I used to work with a guy back at my first job in the 90s who was a huge Eagles Fan. When we all asked him why, he didn’t really have a solid reason, he wasn’t from Philly, he never visited there, he just basically picked one random team and always cheered for them. I don’t even think they were a successful team at all during that time period.

So as soon as I heard that they won, I immediately thought about Martin Otto. He’s probably pretty happy right about now 😃

Eagles historical moments:
1968 Week14: throwing snowballs at Santa Claus
2025: At a full-blown media event the Philly mayor cheering..... E-L-G-S-E-S and doubles down
2025: The 1st time President attends LIX Super Bowl
2025: Super Bowl Philly fans booing Taylor Swift for no apparent reason

Priceless

The Birds 🦅 were without question, the better team. That was a complete spanking they threw down on the Chiefs. It was a hard fought season and they crushed it. What a great day! Looking forward to hearing the ESPN losers and clowns like Colin Cowherd silly talk their way around their predictions. Glorious!
I'm an Eagles fan BTW.

Don't forget there was a criminal court and a lockup in the Vet back then....wasn't the 60s for the snowballs it was the 80s.

A lot of Chiefs 3-Peat shirts will be worn by people in 3rd world countries and that makes me happy. I was pulling for the Eagles and bet them to win. I figured Mahomes would make it close as he always seems to but this was just a completely lopsided game.

Eagles defense shut him down. Two pick sixes. How many fumbles and sacks? Chiefs D focused on stopping Saquon...which they did rather well...but at the expense of Hurts destroying them with the passing game.

I'm not much of an NFL fan. With the addition of the portal and NIL deals to college football, I'm becoming less and less of a NCAA fan as well. However, I saw that one of the Eagles players is a big fan of Sleep Token, my favorite band, and thus I was low key cheering on the Eagles last night.
