Phase Linear DRS-900

I never had any exposure to that series, but I know that the series it replaced was an absolute monster in the professional sound reinforcement world.
 
I've never played with those, but i've been seriously considering putting together a Pioneer SPEC series system.

Something about the industrial look of those SPEC systems..

Yes, I'm well aware of phase-linear (not too familiar with the DRS series though), those were the 80s, my friend.

if you are into typical Japanese mid-fi sounding amps built in the 80s, Pioneer spec series may be of your taste. I'd go with the Pioneer exclusive series (still owns an A-2030 Japanese spec, but sounds kinda outdated nowadays, when compared to my A-35R).

My late father-in-law owned a Pioneer SA-90 but 1 channel burned out. I fixed it and pass it along to my dad, which is a big fan of transistor sound.
