Does anyone have the exterior dimensions for the CHAMP 2835XL? I want to use it on my lawnmower and I'm trying to find the dimensions before I purchase it. I can't find it anywhere online.

Thanks Friends 🥃

It’s actually shorter than a 3614. The only 3614 equivalent I’ve come across that’s actually notably shorter, in fact. I have one out in the shed. I want to say it’s like 3.0” tall instead of ~3.4”? I use them on my Explorer. Really nice filters.
Yes! I am going to buy them for my F150 from now on. I just used a couple and was impressed by the quality for the sub $5 price point. That lead me to trying to purchase some for my mower.

After a more thorough search on my desktop instead of my cell phone I have found the information. Champ's website would not load on my phone...it's a relic by today's standards.

This filter is 3.11 inches tall, .15 inches taller than the Kohler 1205001. I will take some measurements tomorrow to see if it will fit.

It seems that if I were to max out the steering, the filter would get struck by the control arm however, I did notice that maxing out the steering wheel did not turn the wheels any further after a point, so i ordered it, we’ll see how it goes. I just want a cheaper, decent alternative to the 12 050 01 from Kohler. It’s ridiculously overpriced. Trying to fathom paying 4x to 5x on a filter for a lawnmower over a pickup truck…

Be careful with that. A buddy of mine bought a 50 hours mower with a nice inspection port in the side of the engine for next to nothing. The original owner installed a longer filter and eventually the control arm worked the filter loose, lost all the oil and blew out the engine.
