PFSENSE

Anyone else using pfsense?
I'm on layoff for another month so I have alot of time to mess around with stuff.

been fooling around with a freenas box.

moved on to pfsense on an
atom 330, has built in 10/100 and addin gigabit intel nic.

any comments on pfsense?

any other similar freeware I should be looking at?

I already tried openfiler but it does not support
advance format drives (4k sectors) so that's out.

If you want a firewall or gateway router, pfsense is the shiznit. I'm not sure why you'd bother if you're after NAS.

I guess I wasnt clear, I am not looking to do both with one box.

Just exploring while I am on layoff.

If I was looking to do both with one box I would probably
use something like clearos
