Petro canada Supreme dino

How would you compare PC supreme to other good dino like pennzoil, quaker, castrol, havoline and valvoline.

I know in canada, petro canada is the house brand of honda, ac delco for GM cars & trucks and maybe toyota dino. Its also the bulk oil for mazda and hyundai.

Its interesting to see how it covers a lot vehicles brand in canada. How good is it in overall? I know the pour point is very hard to beat for a dino. For the rest I would like to have more reviews on it, there is not a lot of info or experiences on this forum with PC.

How long i can go with pc for oci?

If you have exerience with this stuff, please share.

I am using it right now in my F150. Seems fine so far with 2000 km on it. I'll do a used oil analysis once I hit 10000 km on the oil. I plan on changing to their synthetic for my next OCI. Both have good additives and noack as well as cold flow properties. I like the levels of moly an boron. I just wish they were a little lighter like Pennzoil products at operating temp. They tend to be on the mod to heavy side of their respective grade.

I don't have any experience with the conventional but I do feel they are a very good product. If I give up on my current blend I will go back to PC products be it synthetic or conventional. Take a look at the PQIA test, PC put in a pretty good showing.

After my used oil analysis of 0w30 I wouldn't try to push the OCI too far but other than that a solid product.

During recent pqia test PC had one of the strongest, if not the strongest showing on paper.

Is it true that the US companies get some of their oil mainly in canada and mexico? Is petro canada [censored] some of their product tu US?

I believe PC "ships" (not the term you used

) some of their product to the south. They certainly advertise their production of Group III base stocks on their site.
