Looking for an all season tire costing less than $75 each with reasonably OK winter performance in NY-NJ area. A member suggested Milestar Weatherready AW365. A quick web search suggests their winter performance to be OK (for a cheap all season tire).

Wondering if anybody that lives in snow belt has experience with these tires?

Thanks in advance.

It's probably the cheapest 3-peak all-season you'll find

Not your exact question but I'd feel more comfortable with something like this that I selected for my daughter's Rogue in a similar size:

Up to 15% rebates through tomorrow. I do see this exact model Kumho is not available in your size - many other models are.

One review on simpletire say they struggle a bit on ice & hardpack, but still better than a All-season.

(and simpletire shows the wrong picture for the tire)

As long as you stay away from Sussex Co, NJ, near Mountain Creek, you should be fine.

Have not tried weathguards but I brought a set of MS932s a few years ago and they had some high spots in the tread. Car would shake after hitting bumps at 70mph+, spent $1500 thinking something on the front end was messed up. New tie rods, bushings, struts, turns out the cheap tires were the cause.

I refuse to buy milestars anymore. 2 sets of $300 tires cost more than a set of decent $400 tires from General, Cooper etc.

Nokians are pretty good, ran a set with no issues. They also make an all weather tire
